Indian Weddings - lecture workshop


People from different Indian states have their own unique wedding costumes and traditions. In this lecture we will explore how the important social institution of marriage is expressed through various rituals, social customs, and ceremonies. Besides giving a huge boost to local businesses in USA the “big fat” Indian American weddings are also a great way to understand the socio-cultural values cherished by this community. Join us to build cultural connections through this life changing event!

Fresh Indian Paranthas - cooking workshop


Learn to make fresh Indian paranthas that are easy-to-make, nutritious and delicious to eat! Paranthas can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply with a cup of chai as a snack. You will learn about different flours, spices, and how to make tasty fillers so you can create your very own favorite paranthas!
